65 million years before the fall of the asteroid, the ancestors of the Zetas lived in an advanced society.

Like most terrestrial species on Earth-39, many of these dinosaurs had anthropomorphic features. The physical characteristics of individuals could vary considerably from one species to another, usually associated with the manifestation of their powers as masters of ArteSaurio.

ArteSaurio

It is the ability to modify the surrounding matter at will, it can manifest itself in different ways. The mechanisms by which it is achieved are not fully studied, so this ability can be considered a form of magic.

Types of Masters

The Ancients or Primigenios

They can control some element of nature or several. It is the most common skill and from which other more complex ones derive. It usually manifests itself at three levels: Elemental Mixed and Derivative.

Elementaris : they wield one of the four elements in its basic form: water, fire, air, earth

Mixed : they handle two or more elements in their basic form

Alchemists: handle the combination of two or more basic elements. Most of the primal masters are at this level

Bellators

They exhibit extraordinary physical strength and are capable of summoning different types of objects through portals. Most of these items can be considered weapons, but since practitioners of the saurian art eschew conflict and violence, they are rarely used as such. A curious fact is the fact that a master is only capable of summoning a particular object.

Scires

They are extrasensory type abilities, which appear with low frequency. Unlike the previous two types, Scire's condition is not from birth, it arises as the result of advanced mastery in saurian art. Most Scire are Empaths or Audites.

Empaths: They can communicate telepathically and synchronize their powers with other individuals.

Audites: understand the language of the woods and can hear Gaia's song

*Unknown: Jaw's ability to see the future could not be classified in any of the above groups, as it had not been previously documented. Some began to call him Scire Metam, since his vision predicted the end of civilization.

Travelers: The oldest dinosaur books talk about a group of Scires who could create portals and visit other worlds. However, the last reference is found in the 5th volume of the Chronicles of Trycero, written 6000 years before the events of the meteorite fall.
